The local offshore wind sector is undergoing a critical transformation phase, demonstrating long-term growth potential while maintaining its position as the second-largest offshore wind market in Asia, with cumulative installed capacity exceeding 3 GW. Globally, offshore wind capacity has reached 83 GW and is projected to expand to 441 GW within the next ten years, representing over a fourfold increase. From 2025 to 2029, the industry is expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 28%, with annual installations surpassing 30 GW by 2030.
