Overview: Accelerating the renewable energy transition with a strong focus on solar power, the government aims to expand solar PV deployment, targeting an installed capacity of 31.2 GW by 2030, 32.73 GW by 2032, and exceeding 35 GW by 2035. Rooftop and ground-mounted systems will be developed in parallel, with 8.98 GW of new rooftop capacity and 11.82 GW of ground-mounted systems projected by 2035.
